Solid mechanics, a subfield of mechanical engineering, investigates the behavior of materials and their engineering applications through numerical, analytical, and experimental methods. The majority of research in this area focuses on failure analysis, the relationship between structure and material, numerical methods such as the finite element method, and composites.

The Heat and Fluids Orientation, a specialized area within the field of Mechanical Engineering, focuses on designing and computing the components of systems that fundamentally operate on energy conversion, heat transfer, and mass transfer. This orientation is integral to the understanding and application of principles that govern the transformation and movement of energy and matter.

Students pursuing a degree in handicrafts are exposed to 24 distinct groups of Iranian handicrafts through theoretical courses, hands-on workshops, and various projects across 152 art branches. Upon graduation, these students specialize in areas such as the wood industry, pottery, painting, and carpet design, equipped with a comprehensive understanding and practical experience in these fields.
