Dr. Mohammad Yasir Masumi, a member of the Faculty of Chemistry, and Dr. Abtin Abbadi, from the Faculty of Chemistry Engineering Department, were praised by Saeed Sarmakar, the Secretary of the Iranian Scientific Federation. With their combined 319 academic credentials, they have elevated Arak University to the 20th rank among the 44 scientific research institutes. The university supports these scientific leaders with various grants, including a Cash Research Institute grant worth 60 million Tomans, a Laboratory Service Credit of 15 million Tomans, and Post-Doctoral Research Qualification Ratings for three individuals. Dr. Mohammad Yaser Masumi and Dr. Abtin Abedi have contributed a total of 58 academic credits to the Federation of Iranian Scientific Leaders for Arak University. This has led to Arak University ranking higher than several notable institutions, including Iran Science and Technology, Iranian Medical Sciences, Khoja Nasir Tusi, Ferdowsi Mashhad, and Khwarizmi. In May 1394, the Vice President of Science and Technology established a regulation to support scientific achievements and set up the Federation of Iranian Scientific Governors.
