The Faculty of Civil Engineering has seen its graduates excel and secure top positions in graduate programs at the best universities both domestically and internationally. The faculty is also a member of various research and decision-making institutions within and outside the country. They have conducted research projects in collaboration with government agencies and have obtained patents. Isfahan Azad University has achieved the first rank in terms of statistics and articles in ISI. Their scientific research journals have been approved by the Central Organization. The university has also won the top position in the sixth exhibition of research achievements and the third technology of the Iranian national market at the Tehran International Exhibition. They have published about 1800 articles in accredited domestic journals and 4950 articles in internationally accredited journals. The university has implemented 113 extracurricular projects with a total budget of over 60 billion rials. They have obtained licenses for 14 research centers from the Central Organization of Islamic Azad University and the license for the Institute of Advanced Materials from the Ministry of Research and Technology. In the 2018 Asian Design Competition, they were the first winner with their Ergonomic Wave and Rock Bench Design, which also won 4 gold medals from the American IDA Games. They have created a Methadone Mechanized Distribution Machine for the first time in the world. They have 323 ongoing and completed research projects. Their first place national article in the Human Rights Student Journal in the special section of Iran Publications Festival was based on peace and hello. These achievements reflect the university's commitment to excellence in various fields.

It offers student welfare services in the realm of travel and provides psychological counseling for students. The university boasts a capacity of 1400 dormitories for students. In terms of sports facilities, it features a grass field, courts for volleyball, handball, and basketball, a gym, and a zorkhana.
