The Qazvin Medical Faculty was established in 1984 with the support of the public and selected university trustees. In 1986, the institution began its journey by admitting 75 medical students through a national examination. In 1991, it was upgraded to the Qazvin University of Medical Sciences. This process was repeated several times, but the essence remains the same: the faculty was founded in 1984, started admitting students in 1986, and became a university in 1991.
