Founded in 1325, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences stands as one of the most successful educational, health, and medical centers.
Currently, the university is home to a vibrant academic community of 8,300 students, 911 professors, and 920 faculty members. It has made significant scholarly contributions, with 8,377 articles published in domestic journals and conferences, which include 5,396 journal articles and 2,981 conference papers. Additionally, it has published 20,760 articles in internationally accredited journals.
Mashhad University of Medical Sciences also publishes 30 specialized journals, further cementing its role in advancing medical knowledge. To date, the university has hosted 39 conferences, providing a platform for scholars to share and discuss their research findings.

The Student Campus of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences features six dormitory buildings, providing accommodation for 2,300 students, including 1,500 female students. The largest dormitory for male students has undergone a complete renovation. Upgrades to the facilities include the refurbishment of installations, cooling, heating, and water and sewage systems, ensuring they are fully functional and ready for student use. Over the summer, approximately USD 3 billion was invested in the improvement, reconstruction, and preparation of these student dormitories at the university. This investment reflects the university's commitment to providing comfortable and well-equipped living spaces for its students.
The initial registration fee for students at the university is $50. An annual fee of $50 is also required. For those interested in the Persian language course, which caters to all levels from beginner to advanced, the fee is $300.
