The university's educational endeavors are tied to the founding of the Hormozgan Educational and Research Complex by the Regional Health Organization of Hormozgan. In February 1365, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education renamed it as the School of Nursing and Midwifery. That same year, it continued its operations with an enrollment of 98 students in nursing and midwifery.
Additionally, the Bandar Abbas Medical College was established in February. It embarked on its educational journey with the admission of 140 medical students.

The initial registration fee for students at the university is $50. An annual fee of $50 is also required. For those interested in the Persian language course, which caters to all levels from beginner to advanced, the fee is $300.
