The Agricultural Sciences, Agronomic Engineering, Animal Science, Fisheries, and Natural Resources Departments collectively have over 2,500 students pursuing Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees. The university is supported by a strong faculty of 132 members. The institution boasts a wide range of educational and research facilities. It has Internet, WAN, and LAN networks that utilize fiber optics, enabling faculty members residing in Sari City to communicate via a wireless system and LAN network. The library and information facilities house nearly 50,000 Persian and Latin books, with thematic search capabilities. There are also online and offline journals (4 online sites and 360 offline sites), and the Pars Azarakhsh software allows for efficient search. The library portal provides access to about 21,000 e-books. The institution is situated on 105 hectares of land, which includes farmland, gardens, offices, and educational buildings, located on km9 of Darya Road. An additional 20 hectares of land is located per kilometer 10 of the Sari-Neka road. The University Teaching Farm spans about 1.5 hectares, while the University Research Farm covers an area of 14 hectares. There's also a 6-hectare farmland training range. The Darabkola Educational and Research Forest and the Darabkola Forest Meteorological Station are part of the institution's research facilities. The Botanical Garden, which is 32 years old, houses a hundred species of trees. There's also a Garden of Trees and Tree Life, an orchard of fruit trees, and a 100-square-meter research greenhouse (School of Natural Resources). The Sote Educational-Research Farm, spanning 100 hectares, is another significant part of the institution's research facilities. These resources collectively contribute to a comprehensive and conducive learning environment.

The initial registration fee for students at the university is $50. An annual fee of $50 is also required. For those interested in the Persian language course, which caters to all levels from beginner to advanced, the fee is $300.
