The University of Qom, a public institution in Iran, is situated on a 140-hectare campus located southwest of Qom, along the Ghadir Highway. The university boasts six faculties, seven research and technology centers, 33 departments, and offers 164 specializations at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. The student body at the University of Qom comprises 8,522 students, including 5,485 undergraduates, 2,687 master's degree students, and 348 Ph.D. students. The gender distribution includes 4,543 male students and 3,977 female students. The distribution of students across various faculties is as follows: 21% in the School of Basic Sciences, 20% in the Faculty of Theology, 19% in the Technical Engineering Department, 17% in the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, and 8% in the School of Management. The university employs 245 academic staff members, including professors, assistant professors, and instructors.

The university holds a distinguished reputation and status compared to other universities in the province. It was the first university established in the country following the victory of the Islamic Revolution and is the second higher education center in the province. It is the only public university in the country that implements gender segregation, aiming to uphold Islamic values and practices fully. The university maintains close and friendly relations with the country's prestigious universities, leveraging their scientific capacities. It prioritizes graduate studies over undergraduate courses. Especially in the early years of the revolution, it focused on training efficient personnel to work in the judiciary and education system. The university has been selected as an elite university of the province. Three of its professors have been recognized as model professors in the country. Over the past five years, there has been a 200% growth in the admission of Qom University graduates to higher education levels.

The university offers a range of facilities and resources: - Dormitories: The boys' dormitory can accommodate 400 students, while the girls' dormitory has a capacity for over 900 students. - Libraries: The university boasts a vast collection of books with more than 49,908 Persian and 5,769 Latin titles, along with 408 Arabic, Persian, and English titles. Among these, 10,720 are Persian and Arabic titles, and 1,500 are Latin titles. The library of the School of Basic Sciences houses over 11,000 Persian and Latin books and 3,500 Latin electronic articles. The Tarbiat Modares Center Library holds 10,500 titles. - Internet Network: The university provides a robust internet network for students and staff. - Sports Facilities: An indoor sports hall, beach soccer, and volleyball facilities are available for students. - Dining: The Zamin Chaman Restaurant caters to the dining needs of the university community. - Spiritual Spaces: A mosque is available for prayer and reflection. - Wellness Facilities: A pool, sauna, and jacuzzi are available for relaxation and wellness. - Halls: The university has several halls including Sheik Mofid's Great Hall (Grade 1), the Amphitheater of Shahid Beheshti (Grade 2), Shahid Motahhari Hall, and the Thought Hall, which is used for special meetings of experts and executive officers.

The initial registration fee for students at the university is $50. An annual fee of $50 is also required. For those interested in the Persian language course, which caters to all levels from beginner to advanced, the fee is $300.
