The University of Arts of Isfahan, initially known as the Faculty of Isfahan Pardis University, was established as a higher education center for art fields in the province of Parvar and the Esfahan Art Faculty. Founded in 1976 with the goal of training specialists in the preservation of historical monuments and buildings, it was recognized as the first Iranian Higher Education Center specializing in restoration. The university accepted graduates from various disciplines, including Archeology, Painting, Interior Architecture, Building, Chemistry, and Textile, as postgraduate students of Restoration of Historical Works. Initially founded by Al-Farabi University, the college temporarily closed its doors following the second Islamic Glorious Revolution, only to reopen after the Cultural Revolution in 1983.
Currently, Isfahan University of Art has about 3000 students who are studying in Art and Entrepreneurship Research, Protection and Restoration, Handicrafts, Architecture and Urbanism and Visual Arts..

The initial registration fee for students at the university is $50. An annual fee of $50 is also required. For those interested in the Persian language course, which caters to all levels from beginner to advanced, the fee is $300.
